BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – The Indiana football program will host the 2024 IU Football Spring Game on Thursday (April 18) inside Memorial Stadium. Admission and parking for the event is FREE and stadium gates open at 6:30 p.m. in preparation for the fans first look at the Hoosiers under first year head coach Curt Cignetti.

Indiana football is officially back on the field for spring practices! Coach Curt Cignetti has taken the reigns of the Hoosier program and expectations are at nearly an all-time high, despite not yet playing any games. There was a lot of roster turnover this offseason, so as we kick off spring practices we wanted to give a preview of all the players on the team. Today, we’ll highlight the cornerback group.

The Indiana defensive line is one of the bigger concerns heading into spring practice. The Hoosiers are extremely thin in the middle of the line as several key players are recovering from postseason surgeries and Philip Blidi announced he was entering the transfer portal. IU’s defensive line will consist of a defensive end, two defensive tackles and a rush end called the stud.

Some that come to mind after talking with our own Sammy Jacobs include the 2013 QB room with Sudfeld, Roberson, and Coffman, the 2020 CB room with Mullen, Taylor, and Williams, the 2013 RB room with Coleman, Houston, and Roberts, the 2015 OL room with Feeney, Stepaniak, Martin, and Spriggs, and even LB rooms consisting of Scales, Oliver, and Covington to McFadden, Jones, and Casey more recently.
