The Indiana Hoosiers will have to replace the heart and soul of their linebacker room and defense as Micah McFadden is off to chase his NFL dreams. The Hoosiers will also be under the new direction of defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Chad Wilt. While Wilt has not exclusively coached linebackers, he has been a coach for over 20 years and will have Tom Allen calling the plays on defense.

Hoosiers Continue Big Day With Commitment From Maurice Freeman

The Indiana Hoosiers continued to load up in the secondary as they added Maurice Freeman to the 2021 class. Freeman, a safety from Chesapeake, Virginia that checks in at 6’0” and 190 pounds, is the 13th member of the class, and second commitment of the day, as he joins fellow safeties Larry Smith and Audrey Burks in the incoming group. Freeman chose the Hoosiers over Illinois, Pittsburgh and Ole Miss and he is listed as an 88 on 247Sports.
